Kelly Van Rij, L.Ac, RPT

Kelly Van Rij is the founder and president of Integrated Therapies, Inc. Kelly's career began when she received her Degree in Physical Therapy from SUNY Stony Brook NY in 1991. Prior to moving to Florida, Kelly interned aggressively at the post graduate level for three years in outpatient orthopedics, with a specialization in manual therapy. Kelly went on to receive National Diplomat Status as an Acupuncture Physician. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the National College of Oriental Medicine in January 2003 and simultaneously earned an additional Bachelor of Science Degree in Alternative Health Sciences.

Kelly understands the importance of balanced systems in the body and is able to recognize and treat these imbalances from a physiological perspective. With over 18 years experience in physical therapy together with the National Accreditation in Acupuncture , Kelly Van Rij, is fast becoming a renowned physician for treating not only complex pain syndromes, but also adrenal stress syndromes, blood sugar imbalances, gastrointestinal dysfunction, allergies, etc. She calls upon her past experience to employ the unique combination of orthopedic manipulative therapy with Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has become the "therapist's therapist" having colleagues frequently consulting her for the treatment of their own problems. Her advanced training in functional medicine also enables her to perform blood chemistry nutritional analysis and treatment. She has achieved great success in improving the quality of her patient's lives when other conventional therapies have failed.

Kelly's treatments have a holistic emphasis, focusing on correcting the root cause of dysfunction and providing the optimal environment for the body to heal. She recognizes and respects the unique individuality of each of her patients.

As Kelly continues to grow in her unique career, she finds happiness in loving her husband and raising three beautiful children here in Ormond Beach. When time permits, she feeds her need for adrenaline with activities like snowboarding and white water rafting, and then recovers with Yoga and Tai Chi!
